Wasn’t it supposed to be easier and more joyful?
I’ve always thought that once I became an entrepreneur, I could do what I loved to do. I founded my first business to deliver joyful learning experiences. Three years in, I had a fantastic team, amazing clients and won awards - everything seemed great.
However, I realised that somewhere along the way, I lost joy - the very thing I set out to spread in the world. I felt stuck in my role of managing the team and selling courses and didn’t see a way forward towards my vision. I craved to be more creative. So I made the tough call and sold my company.
After that, I explored what kind of entrepreneur I wanted to be. I fought with perfectionism, the imposter syndrome and more demons along the way. I’ve felt scared, I’ve felt doubtful and I’ve felt lonely at times (and still sometimes do)…
… and ultimately, I found a path for me to lead a life and business, with impact, ease and JOY.
I want to live in a world where people have sparkles in their eyes when they talk about what they do. 🤩
It frustrates me when I see women with ideas that make themselves, their ambitions and dreams smaller than they really are.

Hi, I’m Melanie
I’m the founder of the Joy Accelerator and I coach ambitious women in innovation to kickass and lead with ease and joy.
My first business started as a side hustle, turned into Master21 Academy and grew to a revenue of 190+k in the first year. Within 3 years, we grew to a team of 5 and taught 1100+ business professionals how to write their first lines of code.
After having sold Master21, I encourage other women to step into their power and lead, with ease and joy.
